I bought a pair of reading glasses this weekend. I normally wear contacts and for the past six months I have been seeing life through monovision contacts (one contact for close up, the other for distance). I've decided that I don't like that arrangement, so I caved and bought the above glasses.
What I find is that I see the world differently while I am wearing them. I am enjoying them so much, I am contemplating buying another pair and wearning them indefinitely. Nah, I probably won't do that, but I love feeling as though I am going incognito when I wear them.
I feel as though things are more effortless, small annoyances bounce right off of me, people look at me as though I harbor some mysterious secret.
And I do.
